I’m an Asheville, NC-based Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate.
When you’re struggling with any kind of emotional turmoil, seeking help can be a major challenge. Maybe you’re turned off by the hefty costs and inconveniences associated with many counseling services, or maybe you’re simply stuck in an emotional rut and lack the energy to reach out to someone who can provide support.
I know how difficult it is because I’ve been there. And that’s exactly why I launched Morning Coffee Counseling, PLLC.
With Morning Coffee Counseling, you won’t just sit down with someone and hear about the coping mechanisms you need to develop in order to “get by.” After all, you took the initiative and reached out for help, so your emotional reward should be something so much more than basic survival tips.
I firmly believe that results-oriented therapy is a particularly effective method to develop confidence and clarity so you can find peace and thrive in your daily existence.
Morning Coffee Counseling utilizes this approach to help you break seemingly endless cycles of grief, self-doubt, and negative patterns. I’ve helped many adults from all different backgrounds in their mental health struggles over the last decade, and I will do whatever I can to ensure you get the help you need at a pace you’re comfortable with.
My preferred treatment modalities are ACT and Existential Therapy, CBT and Narrative Therapy, along with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which I find very helpful in processing trauma and changing negative core beliefs.
As a person who is caring, focused, and who values your individual thoughts and feelings, I am more than happy to accommodate your schedule for counseling sessions, which you can schedule online. I’ll also meet with you for a free, 15-minute introductory call so we can connect and see if we’re a good fit for one another.
